Deep-tech startups have seen phenomenal growth in the past five years, evident by the investment that poured into these startups. Global investment has quadrupled from $15 billion in 2016 to $60 billion in 2020.

A significant amount of these investments are from corporate venturing; a practice where corporates collaborate with startups through open innovation, intending to adopt the technology into the company eventually.

Diving into this growing trend amongst the corporates, IESE experts Josemaria Siota and M. Julia Prats seek to find the keys to a successful collaboration through a 2021 study into the East and Southe-East Asia phenomenon.
